The editing tools are basic….and don't compete with those offered by Adobe, Microsoft or even Google's free Picasa application. But the organization is well done….and the link to upload photos to Shutterfly for sharing or printing is seamless. Shutterfly has managed to stay independent and profitable according to Housenbold, while rivals have been acquired. Ofoto by Kodak and Snapfish by Hewlett Packard. The secret, he says…
"We've never deleted a photo, no one else in the industry can say that. We don't force customers to register or sign up to view their friends' and families' photos."
