"On the PlayStation 3, we've announced that Alone in the Dark would be one of our leading titles. It's a very complex machine to develop on and we just want to make sure we deliver the best. So we've reduced again the scope of what we want to do. The philosophy would be let's go back to basics of game play and invest wisely in less titles but more deeply."
At the world's biggest video game company, Electronic Arts, VP Jeff Brown says…
"Smaller companies presumably are going to make fewer games and in some instances, no games, in the first year of the PlayStation 3 or the first year of the Xbox 360 because they simply can't afford to do the R&D."
