Storing all of those digital photo, video and music files online. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. If you have a digital still camera, a digital video camera and a digital music player….or maybe a media center PC….chances are you've got gigabytes of files stored at home. That makes sharing files or accessing them from another PC a not so simple task. A company called Streamload is making a business out of online storage. Consumers can use their high speed Internet connections to store those files securely online through a service Streamload calls MediaMax. Marketing Director Mike Corrales…

"Through any Web browser, I can essentially upload any of my important data that I have, including my digital photos, digital music, any digital videos. And the application automatically organizes the information, puts my digital videos in my video sharing application, my digital photos in my photo sharing application, regardless of where the files exist on my local PC. And once they're there, it's very easy to organize them, create video albums, photos albums, things that are easy to share with family and friends and people that you care about."

The service gives users 25 gigabytes of online storage for free. But free downloads are limited to 500 megabytes a month. A subscription …for about 15 dollars a month…gives you 250 gigabytes of storage….and download of 25 gigabytes a month. Who is using the service so far?

"Primarily end consumers. It's kind of the soccer moms and dads who took a video Johnny's soccer game and want to share it with the rest of their family."
