"In addition to the usual roster updates, this year's game focuses on the running game. It is the year of the running back so we've integrated a lot of new innovative features that revolve around the running game. So for the first time, players can actively control lead blockers. So we have lead blocker control. We also have a new mechanic called the highlight stick which allows running backs, during any running play, to really run like the players run. So smaller backs will be more elusive and evasive and break tackles, whereas the larger power running backs will run with power and strength and run with force. In addition to all the new running game features, the next gen version for Xbox 360 is all about game play depth. And so we've really returned to the levels of game play depth where we've got Superstar Mode."

Where you create a player and guide his career perhaps to superstardom. Electronic Arts is in the shotgun formation with Madden '07….with versions available for just about every platform you can think of, including cell phones. The Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii versions will arrive later in the year along with the new consoles. For the Xbox 360 the price is about 60 dollars. Bloomberg Boot Camp, I'm Fred Fishkin.
