You've more than likely used PDF to look at a variety of documents online using the free Acrobat reader...

Another new feature is being called Acrobat Connect to enable online conferencing and collaboration…
"The value of this is pretty straight forward. You basically are saving the time and money you would have spent on travel. But you could have a Web conference where you are sharing information and reviewing documents and going over presentations and collaborating."
