You can watch DVDs or listen to CDs...without having to boot up the computer. The price...is as big as the machine. About 35 hundred dollars. Toshiba isn't alone. Dell's XPS M2010 carries a similar price. It's more of a portable than a notebook, The keyboard is detachable... from the base and the 20 inch widescreen.
