"Kodak and Shutterfly…they're great for making prints. And we use them for that purpose. But they sort of felt like the Black Flag roach motel…of photo and video sharing. The images check in, but they don't check out. Because you basically have to buy your stuff back from them on paper or on disc. And we wanted a more customer centric approach where the site was ours and they hadn't turned our entire photo and video collection into a big shopping cart or a billboard for advertising."
