"We index all of it and when we index it, we basically create links back to it. So if you do a search on Blinkx and you find something that matches your search, and click on that link, you watch that content back on the other person's site. Those content sites are very, very happy with Blinkx because basically, what we do is stimulate more and more traffic to go toward their sites."
The video wall on the Blinkx site….looks like a huge multi screen TV network control room. The CTO says the site is adding some new capability this year…
"What this new system will let you do is if you are a news creator or blogger, anybody who creates Web content on a fairly regular basis, you'll actually be able to embed a special Blinkx widget into your system, into your site. And that widget will automatically find related videos based on everything you write about. So if you write and article or a post about a topic on one day and a different thing the next day, each day, Blinkx will find related video. So it's creating in parallel a video channel for you alongside your text content."
