"The product's really divided into two parts. There's a free part of the product which includes basically news, sports and weather, but we've added to that free component the OAG flight schedule, which can be really valuable to a business traveler, we've added hotel search, which is actually powered by Hotels.com, we've added at the very top level travel phone numbers, so you can quickly find your rental car or your hotel chain if you stay in the same places. And just kind of one tap to dial. A really revolutionary concept of using the phone as a phone. And then we've also added currency conversions for world travelers. A hundred and sixty four currencies that are also updated throughout the day, although once a day is enough to give you a sense of what you need. All that is added into the free version of the product. And then our premium product, which serious users actually subscribe to by the hundreds of thousands…actually millions now… we've actually added flight status."
The price…about 7 dollars a month. One step up from that…at ten dollars a month is the Elite service ..
"And what we add to the Elite version is a 24 hour seven day a week live personal assistant."
That can help you get a dinner or hotel reservation…or locate a replacement notebook power supply in an emergency. Bloomberg Boot Camp, I'm Fred Fishkin.
