"This is the culmination of many years of development inside HTC. But it's basically an ultra-compact, very thin device that is driven by the touch and the gesture of your thumb. We did our first touch screen device about five years ago and with this device, it's about leaving the stylus inside and navigating to those things that are most important just with your thumb."
Swipe your finger across the screen in different directions to bring up different menus or functions…
"So here you see big buttons for music, photos and videos. It will take you straight to the music player or the camera. You swipe your thumb across and you go to another part of the cube and get to some of these other applications. Swipe it across again and here you get to our contacts launcher."
The device will use the Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system and should be available from various carriers later this year. Other features include built in WiFi and stereo Bluetooth Bloomberg Boot Camp, I'm Fred Fishkin.
