Melodeo …a company that has focused on mobile audio and video…has announced a service called nuTsie. VP Dave Dederer…

"There's a one click function in iTunes that lets you to export your library, just file, click, export. And we thought, why not just take the metadata from people's iTunes libraries, take it and sort of put it into a shuffle algorithm, and then from our server with a million plus songs, stream what is essentially their iTunes library to them in a Webcast stream. And it's a very elegant solution. It's a very simple solution. It takes away a lot of piracy issues because we're paying according to Webcast rules, so all the rights holders get paid."

There's a free public beta available at nuTsie.com. Subscriptions may eventually cost a dollar or two a month. On the downside…you won't be able to use to create your own playlists…or play specific songs….it's all shuffled. With those limitations, you'll also have access to your iTunes library from other PCs….and…

"The Web portion of the service will be free, because you'll be able to access the service online from any PC. And that's another use. you just tap into your iTunes collection and shuffle."
