This is a power pack that incorporates a solar cell and what it really does is provide you household power when it's not available. So if you are in an outage situation, you can run various household appliances and the solar cell that's a part of this power pack will constantly renew the power pack which gives you sort of a solution that can keep you running various things for a number of days, regardless of the fact that maybe the power has gone out."

You can't plug your refrigerator into it….the capacity is about 320 watts. The company has more robust solutions for that. The XPower Powerpack Solar weighs about 12 pounds and you can find it for under 150 dollars.
