New devices for radio ...and TV...from Sirius. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. Sirius Satellite Radio...which is looking to merger with rival XM.....has announced a new line up of devices. On the portable front is the Stilleto 2...which can record up to 100 hours of programming....and can connect to the service through a WiFi network when a satellite signal isn't available. And Sonos has updated its whole house digital music system to connect to Sirius as well. Sonos president Phil Abram....

"If you're a current Sirius subscriber, and there's over seven million of those folks out there, for 2.95 a month, for the higher quality Sirius Internet radio service, you can enjoy. If you're not a Sirius subscriber, you can subscribe just to the Internet radio service and that's 12.95 a month."

The Sonos System also gives you access to music stored on your home network...or through music subscription services. In the meantime, Sirius has also unveiled its long promised TV service....designed for kids in the backseat. VP Sean Gibbons...

"The kids in the back can watch Nickelodeon, the Cartoon Network or the Disney Channel and at the same time, mom and dad can listen to Sirius' music, talk, news and entertainment channels on the same device."

The system is initially available as a factory installed option in Chrysler and Dodge minivans. Aftermarket equipment will be available...for about 300 dollars later this year...and will add about 7 dollars a month to the price of a Sirius subscription. Bloomberg Boot Camp, I'm Fred Fishkin.
