"Photoshop CS3 has come out with some new technologies to align and blend photos together. One of the ways we use it is in a new tool called photo merge group shot. Let's say you're at a family reunion or a Thanksgiving dinner and you say...everybody get together...and you take a shot and you say let me take a few more. You take a few more because invariably someone is closing their eyes or not smiling. Now you can combine them together. All you need to do is stack up those three or four not so great shots on our screen and then scribble on which person you want to keep from each shot."
The idea is to make sophisticated tools simple to use. There are lots of free tools out there for editing pictures and organizing them....Microsoft includes the capability in Vista, Google has Picasa...and even Adobe has Photoshop Album Starter Edition free for beginners. But says Mohan...
