A new Windows Mobile phone from Sprint and Samsung. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. Samsung, which has had a hit with its Blackjack Windows Mobile phones sold by AT&T….is out with a new model for Sprint called the Ace. The appearance is similar, but Sprint's Amy Schiska-Lombard says there are differences….

"This device also has international capabilities. Operates on the Sprint mobile broadband network here in the states and then abroad on CDMA networks where Sprint has roaming agreements and GSM GPRS where Sprint has roaming agreements."

The Ace uses Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 operating system…..and can be tethered to a PC for use as a wireless modem. While it does have stereo Bluetooth capability…what's missing is WiFi for browsing the Web the way Apple's iPhone can when in network range. The Ace is priced at 199 dollars with a two year contract. As with other smart phones…you'll need to pay for data service along with voice….

"We have a 30 dollar pro pack plan. And that includes all of our supported Sprint Power Vision services, the Sprint TV, the on demand, unlimited Web browsing. Also includes unlimited text messaging.
