"The cool thing about it is it's three dimensionally accurate and there are eight contact points…four in the front, four in the back. So if your character's taking a shot, you'll actually feel it when the character is actually physically being hit in the game, you'll feel the impacts in the vest. So they deliver up to about five pounds of force and they feel like a fairly strong poke if you will for the shooter profiles."
The vest is connected via a USB port to your PC….and to an air compressor. The bullets don't exactly hurt….would you really want them too?.....but the vest does add a new dimension to game play. What may hurt is the price of the peripheral….about 170 dollars. About when a version that will work with the latest video game consoles may arrive…..Ombrellaro says….
"We're investigating that right now. If we have a console game that would enable the code, then we can move in that direction."
