Like a prime piece of real estate, domain names on the net can be valuable. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. The NewYork.com domain name…is a pretty good example of a prime piece of real estate on the net. It was registered along with quite a few others by businessman Leland Hardy back in 1994. Amazingly enough…not a whole was done with NewYork.com….until recently. Hardy still has a stake…but there are partners…..and a CEO, Brett Pulley. Pulley is a former journalist with the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Forbes. About the goal of NewYork.com, Pulley says…

"We've launched as official concierge here at the Jacob Javits Center in New York. In addition to that, we've just recently launched a social network which is dedicated to this large percentage of people who come to New York, or people around the world, even, who long to come to New York to make it, to make it in show business.
