Mac Versus PC ... Microsoft Fires Back

Mac versus PC, Microsoft fires back. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology Boot Camp, a report on gadgets and gear. Apple's I'm a Mac, I'm a PC ad campaigns have helped to convince more than a few consumers that Macs along with iPods and iPhones are just plain cooler. But now Microsoft is firing back...with commercials featuring kids doing neat things with PCs...and with another campaign that underscores the price difference between Macs and PCs. And it is also promoting a study done by Roger Kay, president of Endpoint Technologies Associates...


"One of the things I did is I took a hypothetical family of four and I drew out a timeline over five years and said here's what they would do. A laptop in the first year and a desktop as well and the actual difference there was over three thousand dollars."
