Improved Voice Control in Bluetooth Headset

Techstination feature for Tuesday, May 19, 2009

A Bluetooth headset with built in voice control. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology Boot Camp, a report on gadgets and gear. BlueAnt Wireless is out with the Q1...a voice controlled headset that improves on its previous model, the V1. The voice control is helpful right from the start as the headset guides you through the pairing process with your phone. And, says BlueAnt CEO Taisen Maddern, the technology helps to improve safety while driving...

"Probably the most important voice control feature of the product is the ability to answer calls with your voice. So a calls comes in, it will say call from 415-827-etcetera... and you can say answer or ignore to either answer the call or reject it, which is a really interesting and exciting feature which removes the need for a user to have to press buttons or to fiddle around with phones or Bluetooth headset."

The Q1 is initially available in Sprint stores for about 129 dollars. You can find us on the Web with archives and more at I'm Fred Fishkin.
