Turning a standard laptop into a tablet PC. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. The Siso Tablo Pen Mouse ...lets you take a standard Windows laptop running XP or Vista and give it the functions of a tablet PC. It features a small receiver that clips onto the top of the screen and plugs into the USB port and a battery operated pen/stylus. It's made by Hantech where Jasmine Kwak says...
"It supports all the Microsoft software such as Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel and Word documents, etc.. And it also supports all the professional designer programs like Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator."
The 99 dollar price makes it an attractive alternative to Wacom tablets and the like. The biggest problem is finding the Siso Tablo...or Hantech online. There are just a smattering of retailers where you'll find it.... including NCIX.com in Canada. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
