Picaboo Simplifies Photo Book Creation

Techstination feature for Monday, July 13, 2009

Showing off those digital pictures... photobooks are easy. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology Boot Camp, a report on gadgets and gear. These days millions of people are sharing their photos with family members and friends by email or on the Web. But there's something special about putting them in a book. There are many services that let you do that. One, called Picaboo, will let you create simple softcover books for as little as ten dollars...or leather bound albums that uniquely lie flat...for much less than you could buy them from a typical wedding photographer. About what sets Picaboo apart from its competition, co-CEO Kevin McCurdy says ...

"Three words. Faster, easier and more creative. With Picaboo we're a one time download, so it makes the creation process a lot faster."

Production time is typically three to four days and the results are impressive. Picaboo ...spelled p-i-c-a-b-o-o ... will also let you share a digital copy of your book online for free. You can find us at I'm Fred Fishkin.
