Guitar Hero hits a high note. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. You could call it the battle of the band games... and like its rival Rock Band... Guitar Hero just keeps getting better. (sound) Guitar Hero 5 makes it easier for different skill levels to play together...and includes 85 songs...with a little something for everyone. At Activision Blizzard, Guitar Hero CEO Dan Rosensweig says ...
"What's new in the game is it's more social, more community. On the lower levels it's easier to play so for new people who want to come into the game, you don't get booed off the stage where you did before. You can earn your way back in the game and the game will complete. You won't throw all your friends off. You can play it with any instrument. You can play it with four guitars, you can play it up to eight guitars."
When it comes to these types of games...it is all about the music. And there's more on the way. Band Hero and DJ Hero are due out before the end of the year. You can find us...with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin
