A new Photoshop Elements from Adobe. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. If you love photography and want to do more with your pictures, Adobe is out with Photoshop Elements 8. Like previous versions...it is designed to bring much of the power of Photoshop...into an easier to use and more affordable package. Product manager Bob Gager...says new features this year include a recompose tool , photomerge exposure and people recognition....
"Which automatically looks through all of the photos in your ever growing media catalogue and helps you identify the people in those photos so you can though go rapidly find them."
Photoshop Elements 8 is available now for both the PC and Mac for about 100 dollars. Fifty dollars more buys a bundle that includes Adobe Premiere Elements 8 for video. There are rebates and a free trial available at Adobe.com. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
