Adding the Internet and more to that family room TV. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. One of the big trends in new flat screen TVs is the ability to connect to the Internet to access a variety of video and music services. But you don't need a new TV to achieve that. Western Digital is out with what it calls WD TV Live. Plug the little box into your HD TV and to your Internet connection.... and says Western Digital VP Dale Pistilli...

" First of all if you want to enjoy music we have Pandora and Live365. We have also a relationship with Flickr. And then finally we're offering YouTube."

Pistilli says more services will be added and the box also gives you access to digital media on your own network. WD TV Live competes with Seagate's FreeAgent Theater line. The price...which does not include internal storage...is about a hundred fifty dollars. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
