Mac Users Get New Bento 3

Techstination feature for Wednesday, October 28, 2009

For Mac users, an upgraded tool for organizing nearly everything. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It has been about two years since Filemaker first came out with its simplified database program called Bento. Now...with Bento 3... new features make it more valuable. Product manager Ryan Griggs....

"We've got iPhoto integration so you can actually take your photos further and keep track of more information about each of your photos. And mix that stuff up with all of the other information you have in Bento. We also have given you a brand new view in Bento, a great way to look at all of your pictures, your video, your media. It's called grid view. And one of the other really big things we've added is sharing. Now you can share your data over the network."

Data can also be shared with the Bento app for the iPhone and iPod touch. The price 49 dollars...or 99 for a five license package for the household. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at I'm Fred Fishkin.
