New EyeClops for Kids

Techstination feature for Tuesday, November 24, 2009

Toys with tech. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Without a brand new video game console on the market this holiday season, kids may be clamoring for other kinds of tech toys. Jakks Pacific is on the market with what it calls the EyeClops Mini Projector.... that will work with any kind of video source. VP Genna Rosenberg....

"Kids have a lot of technology available to them, Flip Video cameras and iPods and cell phones. Now instead of watching videos and movies on a little two inch screen, they can plug in their multimedia, project it on the wall and they can watch multimedia with their friends or by themselves on huge screens."

Granted, the quality isn't HD, but the price is under a hundred dollars. Jakks Pacific has also updated its EyeClops Nightvision Google toy....allowing kids to see in the dark with two eyes instead of one....and it has lowered the price to under sixty dollars.
