This year...electronic toy maker Digital Blue is out with a new line of gadgets...that give Legos a whole new dimension. CEO Tim Hall...
"We've taken the classic Lego brick and we've turned it into real working electronics, like a digital camera, MP3 player, a clock radio. And it's styled to look ten times the size of a regular Lego brick. And then we've got a CD boom box. And these are both value priced for consumers today. It's a tough economy. This is a 29 dollar clock radio and a 39 dollar boom box."
Digital Blue has been making electronic toys for years. It's QX5 Computer Microscope and NightVision Digital Video Camera remain great toys for older kids. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
