An HD screen made for travel. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Lots of mobile phones, digital media players and other devices are capable of playing back video...but not that many can do it in high definition. Aluratek is setting itself apart from the crowd with a gadget it calls the Cinepal...that can play HD video in 720p on an 8.9 inch screen...and says VP John Wolikow...it can play movies downloaded from CinemaNow as well as video encoded in the DivX format...

"It stores all of those digital movies electronically. It has a four gigabyte internal hard drive and it has an external SD expansion slot, up to 32 gigabytes. And you get about a six hour battery life on average."

You can also store and play music, photos and TXT documents or ebooks. The price... about 179 dollars. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
