Brain games keep getting better. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Those brain training games that Nintendo has helped to make popular can be challenging and fun. They're even built into the new Nintendo DSi XL. But there are plenty of other alternatives. A company called HAPPYneuron has had a subscription based brain training Web site for years....and has both free and paid iPhone apps as well. About the benefits, CEO Laura Fay says...

"You're going to get a broad spectrum of cross functional brain training which has been scientifically shown to help defer the onset of age related brain decline."

One thing for certain is, HAPPYneuron and similar brain training sites can't hurt. The company is adding new games to its site which costs about ten dollars a month or a hundred dollars for a year and you can take advantage of a free trial.
