The hottest little electronic toys of the past year....prepare for battle. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. If you haven't hear of Zhu Zhu Pets, where have you been? More than 30 million of the little electronic hamsters have been sold since they arrived last year. And now...Cepia, the toy company behind them...is planning to expand their appeal. VP Bruce Katz....
"What we found last year was Zhu Zhu Pets definitely have boy-girl appeal. But we also found that after about age six, the little boys really wanted something that was more true boys' play, like battling. And so utilizing the smart chip technology, what we developed is a brand new line called Kung Zhu."
