The Battle Against Snoring Comes to the iPhone

Techstination feature for Monday, May 31, 2010

The battle against snoring comes to the iPhone. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. There are all kinds of anti-snoring gadgets and solutions out there...and now on the iPhone...there's an app for that. Little Worlds Studio, based in France, is out with Stop Snoring and Alarm. The 99 cent app monitors sound when you go to bed....has different sensitivity levels and can awaken a snorer with a variety of sounds...even a message you've recorded yourself. Another neat feature of the the alarm clock function that you can turn off with sound. CEO David Chomard...

"Here you just have to shout or clap with your hands or just make some noise and it will shut off automatically so you don't have to move from your bed."

Stop Snoring and Alarm can also chronicle how long you slept, whether or not you were snoring and how loud it was. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at I'm Fred Fishkin.
