For Apple...the cool continues. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Apple's iPhone has been facing some tougher competition these days from the likes of the HTC Evo and Incredible Android based phones. But once again, Apple is taking the challengers head on with the release of the iPhone 4. At NPD, director of industry analysis Ross Rubin says the crisp new screen, better antenna and battery life are good news...and so is the new camera....
"This really seems to be the first version of the iPhone where Apple treated photo and video capture as more than an afterthought. And of course, the iMovie application allows you to create a vacation video before you're even back from vacation."
The price with a contract...starts at 199. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
