Taking stock of your photos. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Whether you are looking for images for work, school or just to display....or you have photos you'd like to sell...the world of stock photography is wide open in the digital era. A variety of services allow you to search for just the right picture....or put images you've taken on the market. One service, Fotolia, is only five years old....but has grown rapidly. CEO Oleg Tscheltzoff says the business has been global from the start...
"Because we started five years ago in five countries. Day one. Which others didn't do so. Most of our content is very international. So we have, of course, a lot of U.S. and American images. But we have also European images and Asian and from all over the world."
Fotolia, that's F O T O L I A, has high standards, but the site offers plenty of guidance for those looking to get started. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
