Serious about picture taking? The latest from Olympus. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Olympus is playing a bit of catch up when it comes to bringing HD video capability to its higher end Digital SLRs. But the just announced E-5 changes that. It follows in the footsteps of the E-3 with a rugged design, and the swivel LCD screen is now a much improved 3 inches, and the TruePic V+ image processor is designed for better low light photography as well. The 12.3 megapixel E-5 includes slots for both compact flash and SD memory cards....and senior marketing manager John Knaur says the megapixels don't tell the whole story...

"You also have the super detail or high precision detail that the TruePic V engine's bringing to the images. So even though it's 12.3 megapixels it's actually producing a higher detailed, smoother looking image than you can get out of many chips with more pixels on them."
