Brunswick Pro Bowling Comes to PS3 With Motion Controllers

Techstination feature for Friday, October 8, 2010

Virtual bowling in the family room. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Bowling video games have been around for years. Nintendo's Wii brought more fun to the idea thanks to its innovative controllers. With the release of Sony's Motion controllers for the PlayStation 3, Crave Games is out with a new version of Brunswick Pro Bowling. And the realism using the new Motion controllers makes it more fun than ever. Pro bowler Sean Rash...a spokesman for Crave.... says video game or the real thing... the competition is intense...

"When you're playing a video game against a friend or family member or somebody, it doesn't matter who you are, you still have that competitive nature that you want to win. Nobody likes to lose. So it's going to be a lot of fun to be able to play the live motion game to see people's reactions to see how they would actually bowl."

The only thing missing is feeling the weight of the ball. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
