The Guitar Hero franchise goes back to its roots for the holiday season. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Music video games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band still have lots of fans. And while Rock Band this year is expanding into keyboards and guitars with real strings, Guitar Hero has gone back to its roots with its Warriors of Rock game. Producer Randy Guillote at game developer Neversoft Entertainment...
"Fans of the early Guitar Heros and fans that are new to the series are going to find a game that's just full of guitar heavy rock music, which is kind of what started the franchise. Lots of classic rock songs, lots of heavy metal rock songs, guitar solos, chord changes. Just really heavily driven guitar music was really the focus of this game. That's kind of what we wanted to just throw our eggs in this year. Was just make a great guitar game."
New is a Quest mode. There are 93 songs included and the game is compatible with the rest of the Guitar Hero series. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
