One of the hot video game characters for the holidays is none other than Mickey Mouse. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. With the release of Disney Epic Mickey for the Wii game console, Disney Interactive Studios has created a game that is designed to unleash the imagination. Kids catch on faster than grown ups, says the game’s creative director, Warren Spector…
“The core game play involves Mickey not just running and jumping the way characters do in many games, but controlling the stuff he’s made of. Paint and ink. And so we wanted to put a paint brush in Mickey’s hands. He can actually draw things in this world and then erase them from the world. And then, if he wants, bring them back.”
So the Wii remote becomes the player’s brush. The game is designed to be for single players of all ages. The price? About 50 dollars. You can find more info at DisneyEpicMickey.com. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
