Nintendo prepares to taking gaming to another dimension

Nintendo prepares to take handheld gaming to another dimension.     I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     Nintendo’s long awaited and somewhat delayed 3DS is now scheduled to arrive in stores in less than two months and will sell for about 250 dollars.   It promises 3D game play…without glasses….and, says Nintendo’s  David Young, a lot more…

“There’s really nothing else on the market like it.  There’s so much that’s available in the way of content.  In the 3D realm, you’ll be able to play games in 3D, use it as a 3D camera for 3D photography.  It’s got video display capabilities.  There’s also a lot more under the hood that you don’t see on first glance.  For instance, it’s got an accelerometer and a motion sensor.”

Nintendo has cautioned that 3D game play isn’t recommended for kids six and under and parental controls will enable that to be turned on and off.     You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
