Nintendo DS games that are good for kids.    I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp,  a report on gadgets and gear.     The success of the Nintendo DS means that just about every kid has one, or at least it seems that way.    And the amount of time spent playing DS games sometimes causes plenty of family friction.    A company called Mentor Interactive  has some new games coming for the DS that may have parents encouraging their kids to play.   One title is Cosmos Chaos.   Executive VP Eric Feiner…

“It was designed  to help fourth through seventh graders develop their vocabulary and building skills.   So basically, it was developed through a group  called PREL, Pacific Research and Education Learning, to prove the fact that kids can actually learn by playing.”
