iHome adds Apple’s AirPlay to its line-up.    I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp,  a report on gadgets and gear.    iHome, a leading maker of speaker docking systems for iPhones, Ipods and iPads, is taking advantage of Apple’s new AirPlay capability with the iW1.      Due out in the first half of this year,  it will allow you to wirelessly stream music anywhere around the house.   Design manager Andrew Skurdal…

“The iW1 is a rechargeable system that can go anywhere.  You don’t have to be tethered to a power cord that restricts you.  So I’m streaming audio right now, and the music is up, I’m controlling it.  As long as I’m on a WiFi network, I can listen to audio in any room wirelessly.”
