Dyson continues to clean up.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Inventor and entrepreneur James Dyson continues to bring new gadgets to consumers that incorporate useful innovation.   And his company his proven that lots of people are willing to pay more for vacuums,  fans and  hand dryers that work as promised.     Now it is taking on the portable vacuum market with the Dyson Digital Slim.   Design engineer Blair Hutton…

“We’ve actually crammed a lot of technology in there.   We’ve got our cutting edge Dyson digital motor in there and the latest lithium ion battery technology.   So that’s enabled us to pack about twice the power of any other cordless machine into the Digital Slim.”

An included extension tube allows it to be used as an upright, but keep in mind it’s limited to about twenty minutes of cleaning on a charge.   Fine for lots of things, but maybe not the whole house.    Like other Dysons, it doesn’t come cheap.  The Digital Slim lists for about three hundred dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
