     Creating  personalized maps and more for kids… online.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.  Lots of kids like to imagine fantasy worlds.  Now, a Web site called Kidlandia lets kids along with their parents or other grown-ups… create maps, posters, puzzles and such…that are personalized.    Kidlandia founder and CEO Brian Backus…

The maps are named after usually a child.  So it might be Lucy Land or Tuckertopia.  And then the places are all named after parents, siblings, grandparents.  So it might be Mommy River and Aunt Sally Island.  And you can put 25 names of family and friends and pets and places and favorite things right on this map. “
