The latest surround sound speaker system from Logitech.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Logitech is out with the Z906 surround speaker system, which,  while technically designed for use with computers, feels right at home in the family room as well, especially with its more sleek and elegant design.   Logitech’s Alan Smith….

“The Z906 is a surround sound speaker system.  It’s a 5.1 system and it is THX certified, it’s got 500 watts of power.  It has Dolby Digital decoding.  It has DTS decoding.  So while it’s technically still a computer speaker, what we’re finding is that a lot of people are using them in their home theatre and hooking up to DVD players, hooking up to satellite and using it as a great sound system for the living room.”
