Finding those deal coupons….with a mobile app.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    A site called 8Coupons has been around for a while, one of a growing number of sites consumers can use to find the best deals around.   Now the company has launched an app for iPhones….and says CEO and co-founder Landy Ung…

“We have over 500 thousand live deals.  Wherever you are in the U.S., you open up the app and we’ll show you the closest deals near you.   And you can filter those deals by the category, spa, restaurant… but also you can check out just the daily deals, where are Groupon, Living Social and about 200 of the other specifically daily deals that we have relationships with.”

   The app uses the GPS in your phone to point out deals nearby…showing you the locations on a map.  The app again is 8Coupons.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
