New connections for Livescribe’s pen computers. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. The folks at Livescribe keep working to make a great product even better. Their Echo and Pulse pens can now use software called Connect to send handwritten notes and audio to a variety of online apps….like email, Google Docs, Facebook and Evernote. And the company has also partnered with Adobe to make sharing easier. CEO Jim Marggraff…
“I can now specify to create what we call a Pencast PDF. I can write PDF on my paper. I can touch page 3 and 4 where I’ve written notes and recorded audio and at that point, when I tap twice, I create in my pen a PDF, so when I dock my pen, the PDF lands on my PC. I can then click on it inside Reader and they can play back the ink and the audio as a movie inside Reader. So that’s a big step forward for us.”
And new pricing starts at under a hundred dollars. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
