Searching for music on your phone, by voice.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     An app called SoundHound that lets you identify music just by holding your smartphone up to a radio or even just by humming has attracted lots of fans for its coolness.   Now the company has announced a new app called Hound that puts a new twist on that recognition technology.  VP Katie McMahon….

“When a friend says to you, hey, check out a brand new band called Mumford & Sons, you used to have to go either to your keyboard or on your mobile device and type, type, type.   Now, you are able to simply speak the title of a song and the band or the band by itself and what Hound does is instantly deliver a result that has everything that you could possibly want about that song or the artist.”
