A new tablet for the PS3 and Xbox 360. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Video game maker THQ which introduced its uDraw game tablet for the Nintendo Wii last year, is bringing the uDraw to Sony’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360. Product development director Wayne Cline…
“It’s a much slicker machine. The tablet is now actually a full game controller. All the functionality will be included in the tablet itself. It will communicate with the consoles wirelessly. And we’re also excited to introduce touch screens. So the drawing surface will also be able to be used with your finger. So you could do finger painting or you can use two fingers to pinch and stretch and do various game play as well.”
The uDraw…which has sold 1.7 million copies for the Wii…is slated to arrive for the PS3 and Xbox 360 this fall. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
