“The phone actually has on it what we call a dual 5 megapixel stereoscopic camera. It actually takes 3D.” Stills and video? “Stills and video, exactly, stills and video. And when you think about the way people really use their devices today, they’re not watching two hour movies, they’re taking pictures of their family, their taking videos of their family and they’re uploading them to YouTube and they’re watching YouTube. So what’s important about this device is it has a 3D camera and then it has this great integration with YouTube so you can get all this great 3D content from YouTube and upload your own content to YouTube.”
No pricing has been announced but LG says it will be competitive with other non 3D smartphones. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
