New cameras with powerful new features from Olympus.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Olympus is bringing more power and pro features to its micro-four thirds line of digital cameras and the new flagship arriving this summer is the E-P3.   Product manager Sally Smith Clemens…says among the features are…

“Dual core processing.  Full HD video, 1080i, 60 frames per second.  The ability to experience a reduced blackout time, about half the blackout time one would expect when you’re going from shot to shot.  Reduced shutter lag when you press the shutter release button.  In fact, we’ve done some in house testing and determined that it has the fastest auto focus of any product on the market right now.”
