Sharing contacts, photos and more with a simple Bump. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. An app called Bump has won over millions of iPhone and Android users by making it easy to share contacts, photos and music and app recommendations simply by bumping two phones together. And Bump Technologies CEO and co-founder David Lieb says there’s much more to come…
“So we’re all about making your phone useful in the physical world, as opposed to kind of the virtual world that a lot of other people are playing in. So, me being able to share something or connect with you when we’re physically standing next to each other. And we’re going to extend that idea of using your phone in the physical world. If you look at your daily interactions, a lot of them are with other people, but also, a lot of them are with other locations or places or objects. And we want to lete you use Bump to interact in those places as well.”
